Tombstone
Fixtures: We
have a number of In-Stock Tombstone
Fixtures ready for immediate shipment. Whether it’s Tooling
Cubes - Silo’s – Columns – Tombstone Fixtures – whatever
you want to call them, we have them. All Tombstone Fixture bases are machined to fit specified workcenter configurations.
T-Fixtures: We have a number
of In-Stock T-Fixtures ready
for immediate shipment. T-Fixtures are designed
to help maximize X, Y & Z Axis Travel for
two sided machining. All of our T-Fixtures are
solid one-piece castings for rigidity. Any T- Fixture can be made into a Window Frame Fixture.
Angle
Plates: Mid-State Angle Plates provide a practical and time- tested means
of holding work in the vertical position. All Angle Plate bases are milled to fit your Machining Center.
Cross
Columns: Cross
Columns minimize tool clearance problems and allow
for close part access by the machine spindle
. Cross Columns are perfect for tool clearance
problems, 3-sided work or vice applications.
Hexagonal
Columns: Mid-States
Hexagonal Columns allow for mounting of 6 faces
vs. the standard 4 faces on a regular Tombstone
. Hexagonal Columns are great workholdings for
high volume components, facilitating higher machining
volumes.
Octagonal
Columns: Octagonal
Column Tombstones are a perfect workholding selection
for high volume applications, providing
8 mounting surfaces for workpieces.
Subplates
and Risers: All
Mid-State’s Subplates & Risers are
cast to fit your specific application. Because
we continuous cast or foam pattern cast all of
our Subplate configurations, there is no pattern
cost to pass on to our customers. Our subplate
pricing department will enter your length, width
and height along with your working surface requirements
into a computer and your pricing will be ready.
Triangular
Cross Columns: If
your having tool clearance problems and if you
feel like you need to work on 3 sides in one
step, then Mid-State Machines Triangular
Cross Columns are a great solution. Our Triangular
Cross Columns allow for 3-sided access to the
workpiece in a single operation.
Triangular
Columns: When 4
faces are too much, and 2 are not enough then
a Triangular Column is a likely fix.
Window
Frame Fixtures: Window
Frame Fixtures are designed to allow front and
back machining, they can also be used to lighten
the load if weight is a concern.
